President's Message

It is my humble honor and privilege to serve as the President of the Alcorn Chicago Alumni Chapter. We carry the legacy of excellence, resilience and community uplift that has spanned generations since our founding in 1919.

Our chapter stands as a beacon of Unity, Service and Support – Connecting the unwavering spirit of Alcorn to the vibrant heartbeat of Chicago. Whether you are a recent graduate, a lifetime member or one riding the fence about joining the chapter, you are a vital part of my vision for the Chicago Chapter.  I would love to hear from you .  I want to know what you want of your chapter. I want to see if I can help make it happen. 

Together, I pray to create opportunities to encourage future leaders, celebrate our heritage, and continue to bless others in our community to know the Greatness of Alcorn State University.

I am here for your ideas to promote the chapter. I will always promote the university and do what I can to encourage you to feel comfortable coming back home.

Alcorn is Family. I miss my family!! I had some of the best times of my life while at Alcorn and you are always welcome to the Reservation. Our Chicago door is always open.
